Our fees Initial consultations normally last between 45 minutes and one hour. Subsequent sessions last around 20 to 30 minutes. If you need to cancel an appointment, all we ask is you give us at least 24 hours notice, otherwise we may have to charge you the full, standard fee.

For private treatments If you’re paying for physiotherapy yourself, then you don’t need a GP referral to make an appointment. You’ll find our prices are competitive with other equally-qualified, private physiotherapy clinics. We can also offer discounted rates to members of sports clubs and corporate sports and health schemes; so if you’re the organiser or a member of one, please email us for more details: or call us on 0131 478 4646 and we’ll be happy to help. To receive the discounted rate, cardholders just need to let us know which kind of card they have, when they make their appointment, and to bring the card with them when they come for their treatment.
For treatments covered by health insurance We’re registered with all the major health insurance companies (please see the list below) which simply means that we can bill them directly for your treatment if you’re covered. Each individual insurance policy covers different treatments, so check with your insurer to see if yours includes physiotherapy. Your health insurance company may require a GP referral in order to pay for our treatment. Please note that it is your responsibility to contact your insurer to find out what is required - you may also need to obtain a claim no. prior to your initial treatment. All that we ask is that you give us the necessary details to bill on your behalf.
Insurance companies we’re registered with include: BUPA/BUPA Recover, Aviva, AXA PPP, Standard Life, Royal Sun & Alliance/First Assist, Remedi, Cigna, Medisure, AIMS, Corpore, Health Response UK (MMS), RTWPlus, TICCS, Maitland Medical Direct, Medicals Direct, Proclaim Care, Physio Med Ltd, Provincial Hospital Services and Western Provident Association. Please note that this is an ever-expanding list so check with us if your insurance company is not here (there's a good chance that we're already registered with them or can arrange to become so).
