Specialist Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist
I qualified as a physiotherapist in Edinburgh in 2004. I have worked in a number of musculoskeletal settings since, which has given me a broad experience of these types of problems.
My background in rugby, football and athletics has fostered a keen interest in sports specific injuries - which I benefit from both in a clinic setting and as one of the physiotherapists for Hibernian Football Club. I enjoy the many different aspects of private physiotherapy work including the occupational physiotherapy service I help to deliver for Scottish Power with physis.
I am a critical thinker and enjoy the challenge of reasoning through problems before using the appropriate treatment. I strive to stay up to date with the latest evidence and research - basing my assessments and treatments on my findings. My post graduate studies are focused on obtaining a Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine which I plan to complete this year.
