Gavin Cooper
Sports Massage Therapist
I have a wealth of experience in treating athletes at all levels and am registered with the Scottish Institute of Sport. My background is in Sports Coaching and Development in Outdoor Education. I graduated from the Scottish School of Professional Massage, based in Fife, and I currently run ‘Recooperate’ providing Sports and Advanced Remedial Massage from Physis clinics in Edinburgh and West Lothian.
I currently teach on the Sports Therapy and Sports Coaching courses at the Central College of Commerce in Glasgow. I also worked for the Scottish School of Professional Massage as a lecturer and external assessor on the theoretical and practical aspects of the remedial and sports courses.
I am also affiliated to and a committee member of the Professional Massage Association of Scotland (P.M.A.S.) and am firmly committed to continued professional development. I am also a keen racing cyclist, competing regularly with Dunfermline Cycling Club.
