Swedish Massage is a classical massage using a handful of gentle techniques designed to improve your circulation as well as soothe and relax your muscles. The sensitive approach by the therapist ensures a gentle pressure creating maximum relaxation both physically and mentally. It is suitable for those wishing to reduce the physical and psychological stress of a busy life.

Remedial Massage applies to more advanced soft tissue techniques aimed at muscles, ligaments and tendons. After an individual assessment - the therapist makes a plan with the patient as to what areas to focus on. The strength and depth of massage is then determined to best target the tissues responsible for a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders. This type of massage can be applied to clients with stress related muscular pain, muscle imbalances, postural aches and pains or post surgery. The benefits of remedial massage include relief of muscular tension and pain as well as restoration of tissue flexibility.

Sports Massage is where specific and sometimes deep tissue techniques are applied to sports participants. It can be used in the prevention, management and rehabilitation of soft tissue injuries caused by sport. This type of massage can be applied pre, inter and post competition to athletes of all ages and levels. Its benefits include improved circulation, a positive effect on muscle tone and length - as well as stimulating or sedating the nerve endings within the tissue.
