"I have wanted to be a podiatrist ever since I was little, my mother used to give me 10p to ‘fix her feet' every fortnight! I went on to complete my honours degree in Podiatry at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. I get a great deal of satisfaction being able to treat my patients foot complaints and watching them leave the clinic with a spring in their step. I am also conducting research at Queen Margaret University (PhD) which is assessing whether podiatrists can improve self-management for people living with type 2 diabetes."
