BSc Exercise Physiology
MSc Physiotherapy
Specialist Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Physiotherapist

I am originally from the U.S.A., where I gained a BSc in Exercise Physiology and worked in rehabilitation for a large medical group and several local sport teams. I qualified with a MSc in Physiotherapy in 2002 from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. After completing my core rotations in Fife, most of my physio career has been focused on musculoskeletal injuries and women's health. I developed and led the physiotherapy service for continence and pelvic floor rehabilitation in Inverness. Following that, I returned to Fife and specialised in musculoskeletal outpatients and women's health in the community.

At physis, I now specialise in musculoskeletal injuries and all forms of pelvic floor rehabilitation. I cover clinics in Grangemouth and Dunfermline and sometimes work in Edinburgh. I also do Occupational Health for Scottish Power. I enjoy educating and helping people to be able to help themselves improve their problems. I also like being challenged in my clinical reasoning and having to sometimes think "outside the box."
