The information we gather can be divided into two categories: information from the website and information on attending our practice.
Data collected from the website contains no personal details and purely relates to user traffic. Any details collected via email; from email enquiries, for example; is treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998.
To satisfy legal requirements and in accordance with the standards of practice of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Professions Council, all patients seen by a physiotherapist must have a record of their treatment. These records must include the patient's name, date of birth, and details of their condition. Other information such as address, contact numbers, email and registered GP are also collected to help with effective communication and management of our patient's conditions. This information is protected under the Data Protection Act (1998), the Public Records Act (1958) and the Health and Social Care Act (2001).
We may write to you from time to time, either by post or email, to provide you with information, which we think might by of interest to you. When we do this, we will always give you the opportunity to decline from receiving further correspondence from us. Please note that we don't share this information with any other organisation or business.
