TJ Johansson BSc(Hons) MCSP Specialist Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist
I graduated from Linkoping University in Sweden with an honours degree in Physiotherapy in 1997. I moved to Edinburgh from Sweden in 1998.
I initially worked at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Princes Margaret Rose Orthospaedic Hospital and then at BUPA Murrayfield Hospital in the Sports Medicine Clinic for three years. I decided to add working in a private clinic to my experience and so joined physis in January 2004.
I enjoy the challenge of looking after elite athletes and am currently working full-time for Edinburgh Rugby with my colleagues at physis. I also cover the Scottish national rugby team during the six nations. Previously, I was the physio for the SRU Scotland Under 18s and also worked with the Under 16s, 17s and 19s squads, Edinburgh District Under 18s Rugby squad as well as Hibernian and Livingston Football Clubs.
My occupational health experience includes working for Scottish Power and BSkyB with physis.
